Ieri la Television Academy ha annunciato le nomination per la settantesima edizione degli Emmy Awards.
Game Of Thrones, Saturday Night e Westworld sono i programmi che hanno ricevuto più nomination in assoluto, 22 per la prima e 21 nomination per le altre due.
Netflix è riuscita a superare la HBO per numero di nomination con 112 candidature, mentre la HBO ne ha ricevute 108.
Sarà una edizione storica per alcuni motivi, tra cui la nomination a Sandra Oh come migliore attrice protagonista, che diventa così la prima asiatica a essere candidata nella categoria “migliore attrice protagonista femminile” per il suo ruolo in Killing Eve. La serie però è stata snobbata nella catergoria “miglior drama”.
Samira Wiley e Eyan Eggold hanno annunciato la lista dei nominato. Gli Emmy Awards saranno trasmessi live dal Microsoft Theater a Los Angeles sulla NBC il 17 settembre. Lo show sarà prsentato da Colin Jost e Michael Che di Saturday Night Live.
