La notte di San Lorenzo, a Los Angeles e più precisamente allo Shrine Auditorium, si è tenuto il Teen Choice Award, presentato dalla star di Modern Family, Sarah Hyland, e da quella di Teen Wolf, Tyler Posey. Come sempre, i vincitori ricevono una tavola da surf a grandezza naturale, ideata appositamente di volta in volta. Come sempre, a decidere chi riceve il premio sono dei ragazzi di età compresa dai 13 ai 19 (appunto, i teens). Quindi, proprio per questa ragione, non ci si può aspettare una grande qualità di scelta ed infatti, ogni anno, mi trovo sempre più in disaccordo sia con le nomination che con i vincitori.

Come è possibile vedere, la supremazia di Pretty Little Liars e di The Vampire Diaries è a dir poco agghiacciante. Nonostante i due show abbiano raggiunto livelli di orrore raramente eguagliati, il popolo americano continua a preferire qualcosa di fatto male piuttosto che altri show ugualmente leggeri e poco impegnativi ma che almeno abbiano un filo logico.
Il mondo sta proprio andando a rotoli e i migliori attori protagonisti sono Lucy Hale e Ian Harding.
